Food + Essentials: Making Lives Better

Hope Clinic has been a very understanding place in Linda's time of need. When her son and daughter both lost their homes, she unexpectedly took her two grandchildren in. She reached out to Hope for help with food and personal care items for the kids, and she feels so grateful that Hope has helped her care for her grandchildren.

Linda Says Hope has truly made things better for her. Especially when her social security payment was misdelivered, and she was left without money to buy food and home essentials until it was sorted out.

Volunteers from University Lutheran Chapel (pictured above) were at Hope Clinic when Linda came to one of the weekend meals. The church was passing out packages of gloves, scarves, socks, and other items that she needed for her grandchildren at the time. Without Hope, and the volunteers that were here that day, Linda says her grandchildren would've been unprepared in the winter season.

Each year we open our doors and our hearts to anyone who has a need. We offer a radical hospitality and a radical generosity to our clients. We are able to do this because we have an incredible network of donors, volunteers, and community partnerships that leverage the maximum help for our clients given without strings and given freely.

You are invited to be a part of the amazing work we are doing every day. Your generosity can make all the difference in the life of an individual or a family in our community. To get involved, visit www.thehopeclinic.org.
