Pack Sack Lunches

Hope serves a hot meal in carry-out containers six nights a week, but many folks struggle in-between those meals. To help with this issue, we give out sack meals to those who need them during mealtimes. These sack meals are small brown bags with shelf-stable food items like pop-top ravioli, granola bars, fruit cups, juice boxes, etc and disposable silverware. Foods that are ready to eat are the best, especially for our neighbors without stable housing.

Contact our Food Program Coordinator Emily Holiday via email with any questions. eholiday@thehopeclinic.org

Hope gives out around 600 lunch bags a week, so this is a consistent need. We prefer that donations be dropped off Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 9:00am and 4:00pm. If you are unable to drop off within our preferred hours, we will still accept donations during any of our open hours, but we have fewer volunteers to help process and shelve them. Please call 734-484-2989 ahead of time to let us know when to be prepared to receive your donation.
