Post # 5 July 20 - TEMPORARY CHANGE TO DETOUR ROUTE

IMPORTANT ROAD CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION

We have just been informed by the city contractor, that a portion of Harriet St. (west of Hope) will be closed next Monday, 7/20/26.  Harriet will be closed from the corner of first Ave. down to Hawkins St. (which is west of Hope).

Since Harriet will continue to be one way eastbound, there is a detour route to access Hope from the west.  Drive south on First Ave. past Harriet St.  Turn left onto Monroe St., this will take you behind Perry School, and lead around back into Harriet, right across the street from the Hope parking lot.  Harriet will be open eastbound from there. 

According to the contractor, this portion of Harriet should be closed for the majority of the day on Monday and re-opened on Tuesday.
