That person you weren't able to hug all last year? You can finally embrace them again! After all this time, you're back—in person!—eating at your favorite restaurant. At Hope Clinic we are still taking precautions, but things are starting to feel a bit more, well, normal.

Only "normal" for some means going back to feeling invisible.

Normal means being hungryonly now the news doesn’t reflect the need.
Normal means struggling with mental healthonly now there’s no spotlight on mental health as a feature of the "pandemic toll."

You stepped up last year and we’re grateful.
You made a profound difference when you responded to the call for help. Now is the time to shift from agility to stability. The need is still here—the pandemic simply laid bare the cracks in many places. Although, last year, many became aware of the need for free medical and dental care, food, and behavioral and mental health services—now?—it’s back to normal.

But not at Hope. We hope for better than normal.

You can partner with Hope Clinic to create a better-than-normal future for our community.
We’re invited to “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12) Today, please pray and help pay, through your donation, for those who are struggling with normal.

Sincerely,

M. Douglas Campbell
Executive Director

P.S.
Our food program has been growing explosively, often maxing out capacity at mealtimes. At one recent meal, a regular meal client arrived late, after capacity had been reached. But Hope staff member Von had a meal set aside, saved especially for her. Before she left, Von pointed to a note on the menu display board that said, “You Are Loved." She told the client to remember that. The client was moved to tears.
We are so thankful for the opportunities to remind our clients of this vitally important fact. Your donation is a tangible expression of this love for your neighbor in need.
