Have you ever thought, “IF I HAD GAZILLIONS, I WOULD USE IT TO HELP PEOPLE—I MEAN, REALLY MAKE A BIG IMPACT?”
You believe in a world where everyone can access health care and basic needs, but the task of creating a world like that feels like “gazillions” territory.
The truth is, you have made an impact—a big one! You’ve partnered with Hope Clinic to make lives better, serving the whole person with free and integrated: medical, dental, food, and behavioral health; in Jesus’ name.
It doesn’t take gazillions to meet our neighbors’ needs.
All it takes are people who have a heart for Jesus and want to further the Kingdom—the Kingdom we get a small glimpse of each time someone is fed, healed, and loved.
All it takes are people like you who have seen the need and responded with love and compassion.
You, along with the staff, volunteers, clients, and patients make this last letter a difficult one to write. As my time as Hope Clinic’s CEO concludes, I am so grateful for the privilege of serving with you for this season.
It takes all of us, each in our season, to do the work to which God has called us—the work of making lives better in Jesus’ name. We are in this world for the blink of an eye; it’s what we do with the time, talent, and treasure God has given us that determines how ‘the least of these brothers and sisters of mine,’ as Jesus said, will be cared for.
I am truly grateful for you and your commitment to make lives better by sharing what you’ve been given—gazillions or not—to care for those most vulnerable among us.
I invite you one last time to give generously. As you know, it’s a great feeling to give!
God bless you and thank you for all your support,
M. Douglas Campbell
